Every year O’Reilly would conduct a conference on Tools of change (TOC) digital publishing. This year Pilar Wyman was asked to give a talk along with Jan Wright, the head of American society for Indexing Digital Trends Task Force (ASI DTTF). Hugh McGuire another speaker at conference spoke about API (Automatic Programming Interface) for books. He always believed the best interface of the book is the index. At the end of the session when Pilar Wyman revealed his identity to the attendees all were ready to assist him in creating indexes and all other needs of indexes. As we move into digital world we should not forget the importance of index because it acts as key factor in a book. ASI is ready to help his clients with the best resource available at its website
